From these titles,Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault,Tanuki Pon’s Summer,Buckshot Roulette, andEcho Weaverstill do not have release dates, and are expected to be out late in 2025.Moonlighter 2is the sequel to the originalMoonlighter, an action RPG focused on the adventures of a shopkeeper which was originally released for PC in 2018.Tanuki Pon’s Summeris a cozy title in which the gamer plays as a lazy Tanuki who works part-time at the Post Office and has to deliver packages while befriending the locals. Already available on Steam,Buckshot Rouletteis a popular indie hit with unique aesthetics that allows gamers to play Russian roulette with a 12-gauge shotgun. Finally,Echo Weaveris a Metroidvania set in a ruined society trapped in a glitching time loop.
Xbox Game Pass Day One Releases Announced for Late 2025
One of the main surprises of the ID@Xbox Showcase, however, was the popular deckbuilderBalatrobeing shadow-dropped for Xbox Game Pass.Balatrobecame widely popular in 2024, selling millions of units and being nominated as Game of the Year at The Game Awards. While the title lost the prize toAstro Bot, it was still one of the most noteworthy indie games released last year. Hopefully, the indie games confirmed during the show will be only a few of the many exciting titles coming to Game Pass in 2025.
