Hello Kitty Island Adventure’s Gemstone Mountain is home to two machines that you’re able to use to make more gifts for your friends. Unlocking them requires the completion of various quests, which become available when you’ve reached a high enough friendship level with the respective character. The first machine you’ll likely find is the Soda Machine. Go west, and you’ll find a boat stranded in a dried-up oasis.
TheDessert Boat Machineis used to make desserts such as pudding and ice cream. You’ll want to unlock and upgrade this device as soon as possible since it’s used to create some ofIsland Adventure’s best gifts.
How to Unlock the Dessert Boat Machine
Where to Find Pompompurin
The Dessert Boat can be found on thewest side of Gemstone Mountain. You can activate theOasis Mailboxright outside tounlock the fast-travel pointfor the Dessert Boat Machine. The machine is located on the back counter, but you won’t be able to use it until you’ve become better friends with Pompompurin.
You’ll need to reachlevel 4 friendship with Pompompurinto start the “Dessert-ed Boat”. For this quest, you’ll need to getx6 Fizzy Orefrom theGemstone Mineto repair the machine. Fizzy Ore can only be obtained byriding the minecarts inside the mines. Collect the Fizzy Ore as the cart rides by them.
There’s a minecart switch in the room near theIcy Peak Entrance Mailbox. Jump down from the cliff and go through the entrance linedwith the large pink/purple crystals.
Once you have the ore, return to Pompompurin who will realize they needFizzy Crystalinstead of Fizzy Ore. You’ll need to speak toChococatto get the Fizzy Crystal crafting plans. To getx1 Fizzy Crystal, you’ll needx6 Fizzy Ore. With this, you can then repair the Dessert Machine and start making ice cream, pudding, and shakes.
How to Use Three Ingredients
When you first unlock the Dessert Machine, you’ll only be able to use two ingredients. To use three, you’ll want to get Pompompurin tolevel 13 (Station Upgrade: Dessert Boat). Upgrading the Dessert Machine is recommended if you’retrying to increase your friendship with characterslike My Melody.
Since you won’t be able to make Pompompurin’s 3-heart gift untilafteryou’ve upgraded the machine, you should just give him 2-heart gifts instead. The easiest and least-expensive to make isPudding, which requires x1 Cactus Cream and x1 Coral Milk.
