Every Memoir for Welcome to Velvet Cove in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
This chapter has some very soothing music and stunning visualsfor the game to delight its fans. Right off the bat, there are some prime footage moments from the start of this chapter by looking past the large fence. The deer will get out of view before you can finish filming it, but don’t be discouraged, as there is another opportunity to get this footage by staying in this area. Each memoir will show how many parts are needed before it is completed, and these parts can be collected in any order.
This fence has several locks on it, with one providing players with atrophy/achievement for opening it.
How to Find
Hunting
Players will see a wooden hunting blind. These are typically used to hide a hunter while they wait for stag to come into view.
On the bottom left of the hunting blind, you will see a stag moving towards the left side of the screen. This is your chance to get that stag footage from earlier.
Birds!
Players should already have 1 entry for thisMemoir from the previous chapter. There are several more, starting with 3 geese that all need to be in frame. They can be found on the island in the middle of the st
Critters
After capturing footage of the geese, look opposite the stream from them to see a frog from the cutscene. You can see the geese from many angles, but it should be easy to find this frog by drawing a straight line from the stream’s island to the other side of the stream in the shortest distance.
Look to the left of the geese to see 2 deer on the side of the stream. Get them both into frame and capture the footage for your Hunting Memoir.
Between the deer and the geese will be a squirrel sitting on a large rock.
Scenic View
Look directly above the stream’s island to capture the sun’s light shining through the trees.
After getting the above Memoir parts. Continue to follow the trail while watching the right side. Players will see some arrows they can get some footage of for their Hunting Memoir.
Graffiti
Players canget all their Graffiti footagein the following chapter, but they can pick up one early by looking to the top right of the arrows.
Continue down the pathway until you see a large sign that points to the Parking area. Open the camcorder and look either down or to the right to find a house finch. You can get footage of either for this Memoir.
To the right of the sign there will be a fallen log, and to the right of this log will be some bones. A prompt will reveal its exact location, even from a fair distance. Zoom in on this prompt for some footage of these bones.
Walk towards the bones and then turn around so you’re able to see behind the large sign. You can now get a clear view of 2 squirrels for this Memoir.
Are These Memoirs Repeatable?
Yes, many of these Memoir pieces present multiple opportunities. Players that missed the stag behind the fence at the start of the chapter get another chase to get some footage later in this same chapter. After the cutscene where Swann sees the geese and the frog, players can look to the right to see a stag on the far side of the stream. This is the perfect time to get some alternative footage of a stag for their Hunting Memoir.
Likewise, the squirrel between the deer and geese is not the only chance to get this piece of footage for the Critters Memoir. Players can find another squirrel on a tree to their left side as they make their way along the pathway. This squirrel will be in a tree opposite the arrows used for the Hunting Memoir.
There is another northern cardinal sitting on top of the sign, but players will already have the footage they need of it for the Birds! Memoir.
