There are more than 100Monster Hunter Wildsarmor sets. Most of them fall into the High Rank cattegory, which players will gain access to after completingthe first mission in Chapter 4. Many High Rank armor sets have both Alpha and Beta variants, with the main difference being the way that they look and the number of slots that each set has. Alpha armor sets generally have more skill slots while Beta sets focus more on Decorations.

Just like with Low Rank armor, players will only be able to craft High Rank armor sets after defeating the monsters associated with them and obtaining some of the materials needed to craft them. Unlike in a lot of other RPGs, there’s no definitive answer when it comes to the best armor, as every armor set inMonster Hunter Wildshas its own strengths and weaknesses and can thus excel or fall woefully short depending on the situation.
