During these events, players will be able to possibly get a Shiny version of the Pokemon highlighted for that week, but it is also a great opportunity to transfer any Pokemon the player doesn’t want, so they can collect candy for that Pokemon. This will make it easier to power them up and make them as strong as they can be, as well as get them more attack moves.
Players will want to do a couple of things to be prepared for the event. First, they should make sure that they have a stock of Pokeballs, as they will go through them quickly during the event. Second, players will want to make sure they have some Great Balls and Berries, just in casethey come across a Shiny. Lastly, it is smart to have some extra space for Pokemon, since players will be catching a lot during the Spotlight Hour.
