After wrapping up quests in Shatterscarp, players willenter the volcanic lands of Galawain’s TusksinAvowed. On the way, you’ll stumble into the Southern Warden Tower and meet Warden Radut. He’ll request the Envoy to talk to Amalia, a former fellow Warden, to uphold peace on her end as Radut is holding up on his. The goal of the peace is to finally stop the attacks on Warden Radut’s men from trading near her outposts, starting the Warden’s Warding quest.
How to Start the Wardens Warding Quest in Avowed
After entering Galawain’s Tusks region inAvowed, players can enter theSouthern Warden Towerand speak to Warden Radut to start the Wardens Warding quest. He’ll ask players to head to Amalia’s main camp and talk to her, convince her to uphold peace between the wardens. Here’s how players can complete this quest.
Talk to Amalia & Acquire the Banners
Head to Amalia’s camp, and you’ll be stopped at the entrance with Amalia standing guard on the top. She’ll tell the Envoy that her banners mark the territory these outcasts claim, and as long as they stand, she won’t back down. So, the next course of action is totake down Amalia’s bannersto force her to uphold peace with Warden Radut.
Amalia won’t give players theOutcast Chest Keyif they kill any of her wardens while taking the banners from each camp. To enter camps without getting detected, players can use theShadowing Beyond ranger ability. This ability allows players to become invisible until their essence bar depletes.
First, visit theOutcast Cave Campand take the banner right next to the entrance. This is one of the easier camps to take the banner from, as the next one can be a bit tricky.
Now, enter theOutcast Tower Camp, and you’ll spot the banner on top of the tower. Carefully make your way on the broken staircase on the right and jump to the other side of the demolished tower. Now, head up the path to the left and make your way to the top of the tower to claim the banner.
Once all banners are collected, return to Amalia.
Return to Amalia & Talk to Warden Radut
After returning to Amalia, you’ll need to choose the “I’ve come demanding a Parley. I think we need to talk” dialog option. After Amalia recognizes you as the person who stole the banners, she’ll give up and invite players inside her camp to talk.
After the conversation, Amalia will agree to hold up the peace in her hand and reward players withthe Outcast Chest KeyinAvowed. There’s a chest box to the right of Amalia that players can open to get theBerserker Scaleunique medium armor.
Lastly, make your way back to the Southern Warden Tower andtalk to Warden Radut, update him on Amalia’s situation. He’ll be happy for the Envoy’s help and reward them with theAshfall’s Legacy, aunique accessory found in Galawain’s Tusks. This will mark the Warden’s Warding quest inAvowedas complete.
