This can be a good time to resume exploration and complete side quests, as Henry has his stuff back and there’s no timed rush.
Ride To Nebakov With Sir Hans
When players are ready, they cantalk to Hansand set offto Nebakov. While talking, one of the dialogue options is marked with a heart, which is thefirst of many stepsin apossible romancebetween the two protagonists. For now, this option simply sees Henry and Hans have a quick heart-to-heart,reaffirming their friendshipafter recent troubles.
Once mounted and on the road, Hans will ask Henry a few questions, and players have afew replies to choosefrom withno real consequences. Hans will also offer to race Henry a short distance, but don’t worry about winning,Hans is expected to win.
When Hans asks his next lot of questions, players have theoption to fast-travel to Nebakov, but it isn’t too far, and riding manually willlevel up Henry’s Horsemanship skill.

When Henry and Hans arrive at Nebakov, Hans and Sir Jaromir will go off to talk, leaving Adjutant Michael to show Henry around.Sit down and eat with Michael, and among other things, there is an option toask about how his lord has so many horses. Remember his answer for future interactions.
Michael will also offer to fight Henry in a friendly duel. This is a fairly tough encounter for those who haven’t leveled up their combat skills, but losing doesn’t matter. If Henry wins, however, he will begifted some Rowel Spurs.
No matter the result, Michael will tell Henry thatKlara, just down the slopecan heal Henry. Players should go to her anyway for the free healing, but this can also lead to aromance opportunity with Klara.

Otherwise, Henry will have towin a horse raceto get theinformationout of him. To win, don’t follow the road and insteadgo down the slope to the right. On the return leg, part of thiscorner can be cut again.
Henry will not only win theBravante Saddlebut Pertzel will now tell hima different storyabout how they acquired so many horses. Histestimony does not line upwith Michaels, and paired with the villager’s information, Henry now has enough evidence to behighly suspicious.

Head back to the fortress, to the area where Henry talked with Michael. Look for aguard standing by a door, with another door directly above.Go to the upstairs doorand through another one to the opposite room. Inside there is akey on the tablefor the prisons.
Be wary as this area is off-limits. Check for guards, don’t make noise, and close all doors after leaving.
Finally, head back down to theguard by the lower door. Talk to him and players will hopefully get a chance to try andconvince him that Sir Jaromir needs his help. If the skill check succeeds, players will be free tounlock the prison door and talk to the prisoner.
Pieced together with everything learned so far and the prisoner’s claim, Henry has more than enoughalarming news to tell Hans and Lord von Bergow.
