What Can You Give Pochacco?
Pochocco’s 2-heart and 3-heart gifts all require station upgrades and leveling up other characters' friendships. If you’re just starting out, you’ll want to give PochoccoTofu, which is a 1-heart gift you getby giving Hello Kitty gifts. Once you unlock the Soda Machine or the Pizza Oven and upgrade them respectively, you can start giving Pochacco higher-quality gifts.
It’s recommended you unlock the Soda Machine by completing the “Dessert-ed Boat” and “Parched” quests. You’ll then want to get Pekkle tolevel 6. This will let you use three ingredients to make sodas instead of two ingredients.
Pochacco likes items with theSports, Healthy, andVeggietag. However, once you’ve collected a handful of materials from the islands, you should use them tomake the Pochacco Energy Popor the Everything Pizza. You’ll get more points than you would from giving materials (ex: Spinip) plain.

Pochacco Companion Ability
When Pochacco reaches certain levels, you’ll unlock Companion Abilities. His Abilities areSpeed WalkerandRelay. These are especially useful when you need to complete Island Challenges.
Abilities only work if you have the required character as your traveling companion.
