Summary

Avowedis an action RPG that mayonly have three class skill treesfor players to choose these active and passive skills from, but there are plenty of ways to build their character by using them. Even with the choices of Fighter, Ranger, and Wizard, the abundance of weaponry inAvowedmeans players are able to customize their build in a variety of ways, as well as be able to create something such as a simple two-handed melee Fighter.

8Armored Grace

Reduce The Amount Of Stamina Lost When Wearing Armor

Starting off simple, one of the first skills a player should consider obtaining when creating their two-handed melee fighter is the Armored Grace passive. This skill is important for any build that will likely use a lot of Stamina, as with this passive, the penalty to the amount of Stamina reduced when wearing medium or heavy armor is reduced further.

Usually, when a player equips armor, although it protects them, a sacrifice needs to be madefor the total Stamina or Essence they have. With this passive purchased, the penalty isn’t as drastic, which therefore allows a player to swing around their weapon for longer.

Even with only the first rank of this skill purchased, a player increases the amount of stun damage done with both maces and two-handed hammers by 25%. However, players will want to rank up this skill even further throughout their playthrough ofAvowedto improve this stun damage more.

After the player has taken damage from an enemy, they have 5 seconds to attack themselves, as this next attack will deal not only the original amount of damage of their weapon but also 70% of the damage taken from the attack they just received. 3Barbaric Shout

The Player’s Attacks Become Powerfully Unavoidable

The strength of the two-handed melee fighter build is brought on by thevarious Fighter active skillsthat work brilliantly when facing multiple foes at once. Barbaric Shout is one great active skill players should consider investing in once they have hit level five.

When using Barbaric Shout, the player lets out a roar which interrupts the surrounding enemies. This not only makes their attacks stronger due to them becoming uninterruptible, but also allows the player to heal a high amount of stun. Ranking up this active skill is also perfect for any two-handed build, as Barbaric Shout then taunts all enemies while also giving the player extra health to survive against them.
