Bows allow for a unique playstyle that differs in a lot of ways from mage builds and can prove to be an incredibly reliable and deadly way of dispatching targets from far away and even dealing significant damage to bosses. Choosing the right bow is important, but having a matching set of talismans can elevate a bow build to levels even Legolas would be proud of.
9Arrow’s Sting Talisman
High-Powered Executions
Simple and straightforward but valuable all the same. A flat 10% damage buff is a nice addition to any bow-based build and works great withseveral other talismansthat buff bow stats or general character buffs.
It is also accessible fairly early into a playthrough, involving just a short trek into the hell world that isCaelidand within a few ladders, the talisman is there. Note that it does not work with Loretta’as Mastery or Loretta’s Greatbow but is a great pairing with any crossbows or bows.
8Ritual Sword Talisman
Safety Is The Number One Priority
A great addition to any Hawk-eye wannabes, the ritual sword talisman comes with an incredibly strong upside and zero drawbacks. The only caveat, of course, is that the player has to be full hp but for bow wielders this is never an issue as harassing from long range keeps harm as far away as possible while maintaining the powerful buff.
Though not difficult to find, it does involve a bit of progression into the game. Once players reachAltus Plateau, a sharp left turn leads to the ruins, and down in the dungeon lies the boss. After killing the demi-human, the chest awaits and the talisman is hiding inside.
7Shard of Alexander
A Memento From A Fallen Comrade
A sad end to an otherwise cheery and amusing companion, Alexander grants the player a piece of his flesh as a reward for progressing his tale. The strength comes from using bow skills like mighty shot, giving players a high-damaging long-range option that can be spammed and used to poke or in some cases one-shot enemies from a distance.
One of the moreheartfelt and uplifting quests, Alexander has players running all across the lands between, starting inStormhilland culminating inCrumbling Farum Azulaso although the talisman will remain inaccessible until the later portion of the game, it is one worth going for and a great asset when taking on the DLC.
6Sharpshot Talisman
A Sniper’s Best Friend
For when aiming down sights is the way, the sharpshot talisman is a powerful buff that simply involves a bit more precision with each shot. The other benefit is of course the stacking of talismans. Using it in conjunction with the arrow’s sting talisman and a few others can multiply the damage output to over 30%.
Reaching this one is a bit tricky, as it requires taking down some difficult DLC encounters and moving far across theLand Of Shadow.Travel to the northernmost part of the map and take on
Commander Gaius. Once he and his pet have been defeated, simply progress through a doorway to the left and the talisman is there.
5Arrow’s Reach Talisman
Distance Is Key
One of the earliest talismans in the whole game, for those looking for a long-range buff that allows for precise sniping on unaware enemies. It has the dual benefit of working on bows but also any other thrown projectiles like firebombs, for taking out large groups from afar.
Accessing it is simple. Each theGatefront Ruinssite of grace where Melina is encountered and progresses through the gates. Take a left at the top of the path and go down back towards the gate. There will be a doorway with a few guards inside and on the left side, the talisman inside a chest.
4Crepus’s Vial
Souls-like Meets Stealth Game
Sometimes stealth is the way. Shooting from a distance is already a fairly inconspicuous way ofbattling through the storybut having a completely silent character allows for on-the-move action and close-up encounters with a bow that would normally lead to a full-on-guard alert.
It takes a bit of work to get to, having to progress a side quest to its midpoint, and is fairly out of the way, so it’s understandable if a player misses it. But if stealth is something that appeals, it is one to go for and the questline itself is more than worth playing through, talisman aside,
3Carian Filigreed Crest
Arrows, Arrows And More Arrows
If the damage is high already, why not up the ammo count? Having the ability to fire off several more mighty shots before recharging the FP is incredibly valuable and will benefit any bow user.
Players can first encounterBlaiddin theMistwood Ruinsbut it will take a few more steps before the talisman finds its home in the player’s inventory. That being said, it does not require that much progression and the talisman can can be acquired before ever enteringAltus Plateau.
2Radagon’s Soreseal
Extremely High Reward For Little To No Risk
Generally considered one of the strongest talismans in all ofElden Ring, the stat bonuses gifted byRadagonhimself are immense and unmatched, even with a slight defensive downside. It effectively ups the player’s level by 20, buffing HP, stamina and the two most common scaling stats when it comes to bows.
Located on the far east coast ofCaelid, players will need to enter the Fort, fight past the harpies, climb a few ladders, and defeat a few rats before getting to a corpse that presents arguably the biggest buff that players will find.Full Guide.
1Arrow’s Soaring Sting Talisman
The Best Of Both Worlds
Fromsoftware loves combining things together, whether it’s bosses or weapon types. This talisman takes two existing bow buffs and bundles them into one comprehensive package. Though it cannot be used at the same time as the Arrow’s Reach talisman, it can be equipped with the Arrow’s Sting talisman, giving a total buff of 18.8% to bow damage with just two talismans.
