Ahead of the game’s release, French publisher Dear Villagers shared a newBig Helmet Heroestrailer, which Game Rant can exclusively reveal. The 81-second video kicks off with some humorous pre-rendered footage, but quickly transitions to showcasing gameplay. AlthoughBig Helmet Heroeswill be playable solo, the game was also designed as a localco-op beat-em-up experience, which is something that its latest trailer repeatedly highlights.
Big Helmet Heroes Promises Great Character and Enemy Variety
Since enemy variety is a staple of anygreat beat-em-up game,Big Helmet Heroeswon’t hold back in this regard. Its launch trailer offers glimpses of numerous mobs and bosses that players will get to punch over the course of the game, including goblins, robot scorpions, metal dragons, something akin to a siege weapon, and what appears to be a giant version of one of the game’s heroes. Gigantic creatures seem to be a defining feature of theBig Helmet Heroesenemy roster, with some of them being so massive they don’t even fit on screen, as seen around the 62-second mark in the new trailer. The game also promises immense character variety, boasting 29 playable heroes.
Game collectors with a penchant for co-op games will get a chance to buy a physical edition ofBig Helmet Heroesfor the PS5 and Switch. Both will be available starting April 10. In the meantime, anyone who pre-orders the PC version of the game will be able to start playing it on February 3.
