Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Season 2 refresh is almost here and Treyarch has laid out everything fans can expect when it goes live on Thursday. Season 2 ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 6began back in January and added a wealth of new 6v6 multiplayer maps and weapons, a new Zombies map, and more. Season 2 Reloaded is looking to add even more new content to the game to help hold fans over until Season 3.
When a new full season ofCall of Dutygoes live, the content map usually outlines which maps and modes will be part of the mid-season refresh. What these content maps don’t divulge though, are some of thebig collabsCall of Dutybrings to the table. This season, aTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlescollab was heavily rumored before it was officially confirmed last week. Judging byCall of Duty’sBlack Ops 6Reloaded details, there’s certainly much more at play than just the four operator packs.
Just two days ahead of launch,Call of Dutywent ahead and detailed everythingthat’s set to come toBlack Ops 6as part of Season 2 Reloaded on Thursday, February 20. Multiplayer fans will be able to enjoy two new 6v6 maps. One of them, Grind Ooze, is a remaster ofBlack Ops 2’s skate park map decked out inTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtledecor. The other is an all-new map named Bullet, a close-quarters arena set on a high-speed bullet train. As for weapons, Season 2 Reloaded is adding the D1.3 Sector, a sawblade-launching sidearm, along with severalTMNT-themed ninja melee weaponsto accompany the heroes in a half-shell.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Reveals Season 2 Reloaded
While no new map will be added for the Season 2 refresh,Zombies fans won’t be completely left out in the cold, as The Tomb map will receive its guided Directed Mode. Zombies will also receive one of several new Season 2 Reloaded events, called Cowabunga Cranked. TheTMNT-themed Zombies mode will have players scrambling to kill zombies before a timer hits zero. Season 2 Reloaded’s other events include the Turtle Power limited-time Moshpit mode complete with an event pass, and the St. Patrick’s Day-themed Clover Craze event which will begin on March 13 and roll through the end of Season 2.
