Summary

Despite the fact thatCall of Duty: Black Ops 6is now four months old, some players are only just discovering that the popular multiplayer map Stakeout has a handy feature for taking out campers. WhileCall of Duty: Black Ops 6’s omnidirectional movement system makes it one of the most fast-paced entries in the series, players still run into campers regularly, even on the smallest of maps, such as Stakeout.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6is currently halfway through its second season, but despite the influx of new multiplayer maps released with each content update,Stakeout remains the most popular choice among theCall of Dutycommunity. This small, high-octane multiplayer map is set inside a small apartment complex in Avalon, with very few opportunities to play tactically. The map has proved to be so popular that developer Treyarch Studios has even given it its own 24/7 playlist, which allows players to jump into rotating game modes on Stakeout only. But despite being so small and intense, there are still a high number of players who camp in one particular location.

Stakeout Has an Easy Way to Take Out Campers

Since its release, Treyarch Studios has attempted torecreate the success ofBlack Ops 6’s Stakeout mapmultiple times but has repeatedly failed to pull players away. Despite the fact that it is the most popular map in the game, it seems like a large portion of fans were unaware that it has a handy feature for eliminating campers. A post by Reddit user Electrical-Energy184, which can be seen below, showcases one of the many small vents scattered around the map. One particular vent connects two bedrooms, which are prone to campers. While they’re too small to climb through, players can throw a grenade, semtex, or other piece of lethal equipment through the hole and straight into the other room, taking out any annoying campers in the process.

While players are constantly discoveringhandy tricks for variousBlack Ops 6maps, this one seems to have gone under the radar for many. Reddit userSpector_559, for example, said that they “didn’t even notice the vent” until they saw the video, while userCrazypants36said, “Oh damn, that’s a neat trick.” They weren’t the only ones unaware of the vents on Stakeout either, as dozens of other players left comments saying how they were going to jump in and make the most of this trick.

The recent release of Season 2 Reloaded brought with it a new multiplayer map that was quickly mocked by theCall of Dutycommunity.Bullet isBlack Ops 6’s newest small-sized multiplayer mapthat is set inside (or on top of) a high-speed bullet train. While mostCall of Dutymaps are known for using a three-lane system, Bullet throws the rulebook out the window and has one lane for players to battle it out in. It hasn’t quite found the same success as Stakeout, but it has quickly become one of players' favorite maps, even receiving its own 24/7 playlist shortly after its release.
