With the current season ofCall of Dutyquickly approaching the halfway mark, Activision has now published a lengthy blog post revealing all of the details forBlack Ops 6andWarzone’s Season 2 Reloaded update. Alongside another massive collaboration with theTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the mid-season update will also introduce two new multiplayer maps, a brand-new perk, Directed Mode for The Tomb, and much more. As always, the update will also bring a plethora of new weapons to bothBlack Ops 6andWarzone, including the return of the iconic D13 Sector fromBlack Ops 3, which will be included as one of the many free rewards for the new Event Pass.
Activision Reveals Full TMNT Event Pass For Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone
In a newblog poston theCall of Dutywebsite, Activision has revealed all of the rewards up for grabs in the free and premium versions of theTeenage Mutant NinjaTurtlesEvent Pass. After months of leaks and rumors, the highly anticipatedCall of DutyxTMNTcollaboration was finally announcedlast week and now fans have their first look at what will be coming toBlack Ops 6andWarzonewith the crossover. As detailed in the image below, players who purchase the premium track will be able to earn various weapon blueprints, a calling card, emblem, finishing move, gun screen, and Splinter operator skin. The free version will include two operator skins, a spray, emblem, sticker, loading screen, weapon charm, attachment, and two new weapons.
When developer Treyarch Studios teased a “rip-roaring projectile armament” earlier this year, fans quickly speculated that aniconic weapon fromBlack Ops 3would be returning. Now, with the full reveal of Season 2 Reloaded, it has been confirmed that the D13 Sector (now known as the D.13 Sector) will be making its debut inBlack Ops 6as a new special weapon. This blade launcher is a “variant” of the infamous D13 Sector and comes with a quick reload speed and “several powerful attachments” that allow players to unlock new projectile types, such as explosive and ricochet blades. The D.13 Sector will be available for free for all players but must first be unlocked in the newTMNTEvent Pass.
Although there’s plenty of great rewards up for grabs in the newTMNTEvent Pass, the last time Activision introduced more paid microtransactions intoCall of Duty, it didn’t go too well.Black Ops 6’s collaboration withSquid Gamecaused multiple controversiesearlier this year, with players mainly being unhappy over the introduction of the Event Pass. This was the first time such a feature had been introduced toCall of Duty, and fans weren’t happy with the shooter now having a free and paid seasonal Battle Pass, a premium Blackcell Battle Pass, and now a free and premium Event Pass. Just like theSquid GameEvent Pass, theTMNTPass will be priced at 1,100 COD Points for the Premium edition.
