Warzone Leaker Reveals New Details on Verdansk’s Return
The return ofVerdansk has officially been set for Spring 2025, butWarzoneleakerTheGhostOfHopehas corroborated various other rumors that claim the map will be released alongsideBlack Ops 6Season 3. The new season is expected to drop sometime in March, which means the map’s return could be a matter of weeks away. With not long left to go, Hope has taken to Twitter to reveal new information regarding Verdansk’s return. According to the leaker, the version of Verdansk released with Season 3 will be “pretty much” the original version from March 2020. This means the interior train station will be closed, and so will the roof of Stadium.
However, it appears that not everything will be as it was in 2020. While Hope says the roof of Stadium will be closed once again, they did reveal that its interior will be fully accessible. For those who might not remember, Stadium was initially inaccessible at launch, but aWarzoneupdatewould eventually open the enormous building up for players to battle inside. The leaker also stated that there would be no fast-travel subway system, but the train that circles the map would be returning.
The map’s return has been highly anticipated by theCall of Dutycommunity for many months now, but someWarzoneplayers have concerns about Verdansk’s big comeback. As mentioned previously,Warzonehas evolved massively since Verdansk was around, which has led to concern among some members of the community that the map won’t “feel” the same as it once did. New movement systems, different weapons, removed features, and more could drastically alter how Verdansk feels from a gameplay perspective, which is why some players aren’t entirely sold on its return.
