Classroom of the Elite Year 3is about to release its first volume, and a lot of new information has been recently unveiled, making fans even more excited about what’s to come in the story.

Classroom of the Elitemay still be considered a niche title, but it has a solid and loyal international fan base that follows either the anime onCrunchyrollor the original novel licensed by Seven Seas in the US. AfterYear 2concluded in late 2024, the first volume ofYear 3was soon announced, and it will be releasedin Japan on March 24.

Classroom of the Elite Year 3 New Visuals and Synopsis

As the release date approaches, more information has been shared, including new visuals and the synopsis of the first volume. Check the visuals out:

According to the synopsis, Horikita and others are now in Class A, after passing the exam at the end of the second year — it is the first time that people from Class D have been transferred to Class A. However, Kiyotaka Ayakonoji is not with them: he was transferred to Class C. Now they will have to defeat him in order to graduate as Class A.

Classroom of the Elite Year 3 Volume 1will be released on Jun 17, 2025, in Japan. Seven Seas has yet to announce a release date for the English version.

When Will Classroom of the Elite Season 4 Be Out?

Classroom of the Elite Season 4was confirmed to be in production afterSeason 3finished airingin Japan. However,a release window has yet to be announced. There might be news about it during AnimeJapan, also slated for March. If something is announced there, we can expect that the season will be released either around the end of the year or in 2026.

Season 3finished covering the events of the first year, so the next season will be the first one to adaptYear 2. For those who wantto pick up the novel before the new season is out, Seven Seas haspublished up to Year 2 Volume 10 in English, but should soon release the remaining three volumes (Volumes 11–12.5).

There are also a few manga adaptations, but fans generally don’t consider them good. So those who don’t want to wait forSeason 4should choose to read the books instead of looking for any of the mangas.
