Ninja Five-O, known asNinja Copin Europe, is an action platformer made by the now-defunctBombermanfranchisedeveloper Hudson Soft. It was released on the GBA in April 2003 to widespread critical acclaim. Reviewers at the time praisedNinja Five-O’s challenging combat, responsive controls, non-linear level design, and fluid animations, among other qualities. In spite of this positive buzz from critics, the game failed to generate early commercial momentum, with its weak sales prompting publisher Konami to stop producingNinja Five-Ocartridges before long.
ANinja Five-Oremasterhas now materialized, reaching PC and consoles on February 25—less than two months ahead of its 22nd anniversary. The revised edition of the former GBA exclusive is available on the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC (via Steam). All versions of the game are priced at $24.99.

Limited Run Games’Ninja Five-Oremasterintroduces three major features, including a Time Trial mode for replaying any stage that has already been cleared. Where To Buy Ninja Five-O Remaster
By the time the original game amassed a cult following, Konami had long discontinued its production due to weak sales. The rising demand for the action platformer, combined with its limited supply, eventually turnedNinja Five-Ointo one of themost sought-after GBA games, with its copies regularly changing hands for hundreds of dollars on eBay. The remaster’s arrival won’t necessarily devalue the original, which remains as rare as ever, but it could still indirectly affect the second-hand market now thatNinja Five-Ois available on modern platforms.
Limited Run Games has also offered physical copies of itsNinja Five-Oremaster for the PS4, PS5, Switch, and even PC (distributed via a USB stick). However, true to its name and long-standing practices, the company used a pre-order-based approach to determine its production run, which is currently underway. Anyone who pre-ordered a physical version ofNinja Five-Oby August 2024 can expect their game to arrive in April 2025.
