During the PlayStation State of Play livestream,Dave the Diverrevealed thatLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s Ichiban Kasugawill venture into the Blue Hole in a forthcoming paid DLC. The expansion follows the adventures of Ichiban and Dave as they take on a syndicate of dolphin poachers and the Sea Blue gang. As shown in the new trailer,Ichiban’s Holidaybrings some beat-em-up gameplay to Mintrocket’s title in which theLike a Dragonprotagonist andDave the Diver’s Cobra will team up together. Moreover, the new content includes mini-games that are a cross between those available in the two IPs. Players can also recruit characters from Sega’s long-running franchise to lend a helping hand at Dave’s seafood restaurant.

Dave the Diver Director Talks About Ichiban’s Holiday DLC

On thePlayStation blog,Dave the DiverDirector Jaeho Hwang labeled theLike a Dragonfranchiseas one of his “greatest gaming inspirations” and credited a “fateful meeting” with Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio lead, Masayoshi Yokoyama, for the forthcoming DLC’s existence. Further, he said that the crossover DLC brings together “the best elements of both games” for the two sets of fans.
