Summary

Delta Forcefans can expect the game’sBlack Hawk Downcampaign DLC to launch on February 21. Team Jade’s reimagined free-to-play version of the classic shooter series has quickly amassed an impressive player base since its December 2024 release, but fans have had to wait for the immersive campaign mode teased in its initial reveal. Now the wait is nearly over, as a new trailer has finally givenDelta Forceplayers a specific release date.

Despite showcasing the Ridley Scott movie-inspired campaign in its original reveal trailer,Delta Forcedelayed theBlack Hawk DownDLCjust over a month after the game’s release. At the time, Team Jade did not have a specific date to offer fans but assured them that it would come sometime during Season Starfall, which started on January 18. Thankfully, the delay did not end up taking much time, as devs were able to give some more clarity on the matter less than a month after announcing the setback.

Team Jade revealed the release date in a 30-second teaser on the officialDelta ForceYouTube channel uploaded on February 10. According to the trailer, theBlack Hawk DownDLC will be available starting February 21. Details beyond that remain scarce, but the gameplay and cutscenes seem faithful to the real-world events and 2001 film that inspired the originalDelta Force: Black Hawk Downgame in 2003. When it arrives, the campaign could also help the game foster a larger player base afterDelta Forcewas overshadowed byCall of Duty: Black Ops 6’s releasein 2024.

Delta Force’s Black Hawk Down Campaign Release Date

There are still some lingering questions the launch date trailer leaves unanswered. Most notably, it’s not clear how much the campaign will cost. Team Jade has previously clarified thatBlack Hawk Downwill be paid DLC, but how much players will have to shell out for it is still a mystery. All ofDelta Force’s many existing game modesare free, apart from some in-game paid cosmetics, so there’s no real baseline to help predict how much the campaign may cost.

With the release date coming so soon, players won’t have to wait long to learn more. Anyone who was waiting for the campaign to try the game out has a couple of weeks tolearn howDelta Force’s different modes workand get used to the gameplay before diving into the DLC. If the campaign ends up costing more than some fans would like, they can still enjoy the rest of the game for free.
