Even though the Demon Slayer Corps is no longer active, the legacy of the Corps still remains strong. The descendants of Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Insouke and the other powerful Hashiras could possibly have not only inherited their ancestor’s skills but also the potential to go beyond their limits. With access to advanced Breathing Styles, training and improved technology in their era, the next generation of Demon Slayers couldpossibly be stronger than ever before. In the Demon Slayer series, Tanjiro is able to use both Water and Sun Breathing Styles allowing him to adapt in combat. Future Demon Slayers may develop entirely new hybrid styles, blending the elements or improving techniques.

The opportunities for the future Demon Slayers are limitless and the chance of them discovering even morepowerful Breathing Styles is possible. A few suggestive new Breathing Styles that could be unlocked are Celestial (sky-based movements), Glacier (ice-based techniques, even more powerful than Doma’s) or even Phantom Breathing (illusion-based movements). While these are all examples of the possible Breathing Styles that could emerge, the opportunity to unlock new Breathing Styles is endless.
A New Breed Of Demons?
How Would The New Generation Demon Slayer Face Demons?
Descendants of powerful Demon Slayers could also inherit the Demon Slayer mark, which would give them a boost in power without the chances of death. Some descendants would inherit natural abilities just like their ancestors, allowing them to master multiple styles with ease. There is also the possibility of descendants alsoinheriting enhanced physical abilitiesthat their ancestors also possessed.
Another interesting fact that is an advantage for the newer generation Demon Slayers is that, thanks to Nezuko’s retained humanity and sunlight resistance, future generations will be able to control a demon’s behavior so they do not lose control. There is also Lady Tamayo’s drug which she used to weaken Muzan, with medical advancement, a drug could be developed to reverse the demonification process, or can be used to instantly kill demons, avoiding the existence of demons completely.
Similar to how powerful the descedants of powerful Demon Slayers and Hashiras could be, if the demonic threat isn’t truly gone and if demons were to return, they could possibly be even more powerful than Muzan. The possibility of a Demon Hybrid is also high if humans were to experiment further with demon blood. This concept, however, could be used for good, where Demon Slayers could ingest this blood so they could be on the same level as demons.
The Breathing Style mixedwith hybrid demon abilities would mean that future Demon Slayers would stand a chance against powerful demons. The worse case scenario is if a new Demon King were to arise, this would require all new generation Demon Slayers to be even more powerful than their ancestors by putting all their techniques and knowledge they gained from the Demon Slayer Corps to use. It is safe to say that in case of a future demon threat, the next generation of Demon Slayers will be well-equipped to handle them if the occasion arises.
