For those who want to brave the challenge, they’ll be rewarded with new exotics like
As positive as the first weeks have been for Episode Heresy, it once again hasn’t been entirely smooth. Unfortunately, players have run into issues, especially those who are attempting to play catch up or enjoy some of the legacy activities in the game. Specifically,Episode Heresy seems to have broken some olderDestiny 2content, with Bungie providing a list of things as “known issues” which include Kell’s Fall, Onslaught: Salvation, and more.
With the arrival of the weekend, the exotic merchant Xur is back with a new inventory of gear forDestiny 2players. Follow this guide for his current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he’s brought for the weekend of May 19, 2025.
Where is Xur?
Xur has now taken up permanent residence in the Bazaar area inside The Tower, so there’s no more hunting when the weekend comes around.
Since the Bazaar is located between both fast travel points, players can pick either one to load into. Head into the area where Ikora and Hawthorne are and look for the Ramen Shop towards the back wall. While facing the shop, the alley is to the right, where Xur is standing.
Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Karnstein Armlets - Warlock gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
A solid exotic this week for Warlocks, as it provides a way to restore health. The only downside is that Mobility is higher than a player would want for this class.
Young Ahamkara’s Spine - Hunter gauntlets
The lowest exotic this week belongs to the Hunters and, considering how specialized it is, this one is hard to recommend as it offers zero benefits for players who aren’t using tripmine grenades.
Armamentarium - Titan chest armor
Not particularly exciting, this exotic is still very useful for not only giving a second grenade charge but for spawning Orbs of Power.
