Dragon Ball Daimais only one episode away from its conclusion. Akira Toriyama’s swan song has been a great ride, especially for fans of the classicDragon BallandDBGT, and a good addition to the series' lore.
While it seemed, mostly during mid-season, thatDaimawas losing its momentum, the past few episodes were full of surprises, including Vegeta unlocking Super Saiyan 3 for the first time in the franchise and the return of the SSJ4 transformation, which for now is exclusive to Goku. Dragon Ball Daima Episode 20 Release Date and Time
DaimaEpisode 20, the series finale,will be out on June 10, 2025, if no sudden delays take place. As usual, the episode will air in Japan a few hours before hitting international streaming platforms, so those who want to avoid spoilers should be careful when using social media next Friday.

Episodes air in Japan at 11:40 PM (6:40 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET), thenthey hit Crunchyroll at 8:45 AM (PT) / 11:45 AM (ET), with English subs. They also hitHuluat about the same time.

What to Expect from the Series Finale
Episode 19 ended withadult Goku finally turning into SSJ4in the final battle against Gomah. Well, the battle will end in the next episode since it is the last one, but we still might see some surprises.
Asadult Vegeta transformed into SSJ3, fans are expecting he might also unlock SSJ4. Others want even more: theyhope to see Gogeta SSJ4, just like inDragon Ball GT. Neither of these theories seem to be farfetched, but we’ll have to wait and see. What seems to be certain is that the episode will deliver loads of action with great animation, just like it did in the final minutes of Episode 19.
The Future of Dragon Ball
No Season 2 has been confirmed yet, and, in a recent interview, producer Akio Iyuko made it sound likethere are no plans for a sequel, at least for now. However, he also stated thatDaimawasn’t created as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations. This means that we might see a new anime announcement soon, be it a movie, a new series or something else.
Fans have been waiting for aDragon Ball Super Season 2since the series ended in 2018. There seems to be no reason not to continueSuper, as there is lots of content to be adapted from the manga.
