This all changed with the latest episode ofDragon Ball: Daima, in which Goku finally transformed into a modified version of Super Saiyan 4 during a battle against Majin Gomah.Dragon Ball: Daimawas one of the last projects thatDragon Ballcreator Akira Toriyamaworked on before his passing last March, meaning that, just like Vegeta’s previously unused Super Saiyan 3 form before it, Goku’s new Super Saiyan 4 transformation is now an official part of theDragon Ballcanon at long last.
The inclusion of Super Saiyan 4 in proper canon was met with celebration from longtimeDragon Ballfans, and a few have already put together mods to add the new version toDragon Ball: Sparking Zero. According toThe Gamer, Patreon userEmiG84recently answered a bounty for anyone to mod the new SSJ4 form intoSparking Zerowith their own mod. As shown in a subsequent YouTube video of the mod in action, thisalternate Super Saiyan 4is different from the one already in the game as it depicts the de-aged Goku instead of the adult form that was featured inDragon Ball GT.
New Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Mod Adds Daiman’s Super Saiyan 4
EmiG84 is planning to create a similar mod for a Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, even though the Saiyan prince has yet to take on this new version of theSSJ4 transformation inDragon Ball: Daima. They aren’t the only ones to create aDaimaSuper Saiyan 4 mod either, asGameBanana’s Loryan YTrecently posted a similar one that alters the adult SSJ4 Goku fromDragon Ball GTto more closely resemble his new canon iteration.
So far, EmiG84’s Super Saiyan 4 Goku mod is only available on their Patreon, but an official version might be added toDragon Ball: Sparking Zerothrough DLC in the future. The child-likeDaimaversion of Goku in his base form was already included as a pre-order bonus, and bothupcomingDragon Ball: Sparking ZeroDLC packspromise to add even more characters from the new anime later this year.
