Similar to Dawnshore, players can collect God Shrine Totem Fragments while exploring Emerald Stair inAvowed. It’s called the Schemer’s Offering Totem, which belongs to Skaen and the Envoy must collect six fragments and complete it back at camp to receive bonuses.
Usually, you will find these fragments while exploring the Living Lands, but there’s an easier way to do it ifyou can spare a few coins inAvowed. In every region, you will find a merchant that sells a scroll containing the location of the fragments. However, they are written like a puzzle and players need to solve it to find the fragment.
Fragments Of The Offering Location In Avowed
Upon arriving at the Farmer’s Market in Emerald Stair, activate the Beacon and enter the nearby shop to see Lluisa Melcer. Ask to see her wares and purchase the Fragments of the Offering scroll for 500 Currency to trigger the Totem of Defianceside quest inAvowed. While it’s not necessary to have, as you can still collect fragments without it and trigger the quest, the scroll will help players identify the fragments they pick up and reveal how many are left.
The Schemer’s Offering (Base) Location
To find the totem of the Quiet Slave, an ancient tower you must brave.
The Base is the most important fragment as without it, you may’t place the rest and activate them. To find the Schemer’s Offering, head to the Shrine to Skaen located in The Delemgan Glade. There’s no clear way to reach the top, so use the available platforms to climb up and grab the Schemer’s Offering.
Keep in mind thatit’s not necessary to collect all fragmentsbefore placing the God Shrine Totem Base at the party camp. As long as the base is acquired, players can start assembling the totem slowly until it’s complete.
Obsidian Prayer Beads Location
In a verdant glade where old ruins crumble, you will find beads dark and umbral.
The Obsidian Prayers Beads are located on a higher platform west of The Delemgan Glade. Teleport to the nearby Beacon and travel west until you arrive at a clearing surrounded by creatures. Use the rocks and tree roots to your advantage until you find the Skaen Totem Fragment, Obsidian Prayers Beads. You will automatically travel to the area duringthe Animancy Method quest inAvowed.
Effigy Necklace Location
Hidden in ruins of heathens long gone, the octet of skulls sings its silent song.
During the Ancient Soil quest, players are tasked with exploring the Naku Tedek ruinswith Giatta inAvowed. After activating the essence generator and unlocking the door, turn north and freeze the water using any ice throwable or spells to jump onto the tree branch. Approach the table in the corner to collect the Effigy Necklace.
Idol of Violent Rebellion Location
From on high the third surveys the land, sewing the seeds of revolt near at hand.
East of Fior mes Iverno city, players will find the Ranger Headquarters. Climb to the top and take the Idol of Violent Rebellion Skaen Totem Fragment.
Idol of Secret Hatred Location
In a damp hollow its sibling waits full of rage, while its previous owner decays with age.
Travel northwest of the Naku Tedek Grounds and head inside the Ancient Grotto. You can easily find the cave if you are following the quest mark for Bounty: Old Nuna. Once inside, defeat the bear and the enemies and walk north to find a room filled with red water. It’s deadly, so use ice to make a bridge and cross to the other side. Proceed south and crawl through a narrow tunnel. Take the Idol of Secret Hatred from the skeleton.
Idol of Covert Plots Location
In a place of worship amidst moldering rot, this idol continues to scheme and plot.
In the Grim Wetlands close to the Sunken Village, you will find the Idol of Covert Plots inside one of the barred houses. To reach it, players must jump inside from the top. Travel to the Plateau Junction Beacon and head north to find some enemies. Ignore them and approach the broken wooden bridge near the end to jump on top of the house’s roof. Go down the ladders and grab the Idol of Covert Plots.
Sacrificial Dagger Location
Left alone in fallow fields, the ritual blade thirsts for skin freshly peeled.
In the Abandoned Farms, you will find the Sacrificial Dagger pinned to one of the houses. Grab it and head to anynearby camp spots inAvowedto assemble the Schemer’s Offering Totem.
How To Complete Totem of Defiance In Avowed
Approach the small shrine in the camp and place the Schemer’s Offering Base, if not already there, and interact again to place all the acquired Skaen God Totem Fragments. Fully assembling the Schemer’s Offering will allow players to eavesdrop on some of the gods' conversation.
Collecting and assembling all Skaen Totem Fragments will complete the Totem of Defianceside quest inAvowed. Additionally, activating the Schemer’s Offering Totem will grant players the following bonuses:
