This DMG can increase if you pair herwith the right characters that can boost her gameplay. Not only that, but also building Evelyn the right way greatly helps in that aspect.
It can be complicated tobuild Evelyn inZZZbecause of her kit that scales with her Crit Rate. This requirement is both a blessing and a curse for her, especially for players with a limited number of weapons.
Evelyn Best Drive Discs In ZZZ - Zenless Zone Zero
To build Evelyn with thebest Drive Discs inZenless Zone Zero, you have tomaintain an 80% Crit Rate on her during combat. This is because of her Additional Ability that requires this Crit Rate to buff her Ultimate and Chain Attack’s DMG massively. For that, if you gave her a W-Engine with Crit Rate Sub-stat, then4pc of Woodpecker Electrois Evelyn’s best Drive Disc. The set increases Evelyn’s Crit Rate by 8% alongside granting her up to 27% ATK as long as she’s triggering Crit hits.
If she doesn’t have a W-Engine with Crit Rate Sub-stat, then go for4pc of Inferno Metalto give her a whopping 28% extra Crit Rate when she hits a Burning enemy. This is enough to keep her Crit Rate high enough to hit the required 80% Crit Rate constantly.
As for the 2pc set, it also follows the same formula. If you build Evelyn with Woodpecker Electro, she’ll have enough Crit Rate, so2pc of Branch & Blade Songshould be her best set to increase her Crit DMG by 16%. You can also give her2pc of Inferno Metalsince it buffs her Fire DMG. However, if she doesn’t have enough Crit Rate and you build Evelyn with Inferno Metal, then go for2pc of Woodpecker Electroto further boost her Crit Rate.
Evelyn Best W-Engines In ZZZ - Zenless Zone Zero
The best W-Engine for Evelyn is her Signature W-Engine,Heartstring Nocturne. It has a 24% Crit Rate on its Sub-stat on top of granting her 50%extra Crit DMG without any requirement. This is insanely good for Evelyn considering she needs the Crit Rate for her kit and the Crit DMG for her DPS. Not only that, but Heartstring Nocturne also reduces enemies’ Fire resistance whenever she hits them with her Ultimate or Chain Attacks, which are her main DMG dealers.
Some of the 5-star W-Engines are not perfectly in sync with Evelyn’s element. However, they’re still very useful because of their Crit value. You can build Evelyn withDeep Sea VisitororRiot Suppressor Mark VI. Deep Sea Visitor grants Evelyn the highest Crit Rate from a W-Engine since it gives her 24% from its Sub-stat and an extra 10% ifshe hits an enemy with a Basic Attack. On the other hand, Riot Suppressor Mark VI has a 48% Crit DMG on its sub-stat in addition to a 15% Crit Rate from its passive. Riot Suppressor is ideal to maximize Evelyn’s DMG if you have enough Crit Rate to trigger her Additional Ability.
Other 5-star W-Engines could also be a decent pick if none of the above options were available. You can build Evelyn with W-Engines likeSteel CushionandThe Brimstoneas both weapons still have something to offer. Steel Cushion grants Evelyn some Crit Rate from its Sub-stat with 25% extra DMG if you’re hitting enemies from behind. That’s not ideal for her gameplay, but may buff some of her attacks. As for The Brimstone, it massively increases ATK% from both the W-Engine’s Sub-stat and passive. Again, Evelyn must have enough Crit Rate, so only use this option if she has enough Crit Rate to trigger her Additional Ability.
