Fatal Fury: City of the Wolveshas revealed all of the characters coming to the 2D fighting game in its Season 1 Pass. The five characters coming toFatal Fury: City of the Wolvesthrough the season pass all got their start in different fighting game franchises and will be added to the roster individually over the course of the next year or so.

The first all-newFatal Furygame in 26 years,Fatal Fury: City of the Wolvesis set for releaseon July 24, 2025, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Although its predecessor, 1999’sGarou: Mark of the Wolves, featured a roster made up of mostly entirely new fighters,City of the Wolveswill feature many familiar faces from popular SNK fighting games of the past as well as a few crossovers.

Fans who have been following the game’s progress may already know thatCity of the Wolveswill featureStreet FightercharactersChun-Li and Ken Masters, and a new trailer revealing the Season 1 characters shows that both of these Capcom-based World Warriors will be part of that additional content. Ken will be one of the first characters added to the game through its first season pass, and while none of the characters have a firm launch date yet, he is expected to be added sometime over the summer of 2025. Chun-Li will be joining much later in the year, coming this winter, but she is expected to be added before the end of 2025.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season Pass 1 Characters

Even with the addition ofStreet Fightercharacters to the roster ofplayable characters inCity of the Wolves, SNK will still have plenty of self-representation with the Season 1 releases. Andy Bogard, brother of series mascot Terry Bogard, is the first character listed as coming to the game and will likely arrive before Ken this summer. Additionally, long-timeFatal Furyalum Joe Higashi will be added in the fall. Lastly, while not a character who traces his origins back to theFatal Furyfranchise, Mr. Big is a boss from theArt of Fightingseries, which is also under the SNK banner, and he will be joining the roster in early 2026.

In addition to the Season Pass characters, the developers also recently revealed the regular roster addition of Kain R. Heinlein, the special final boss of the last game who would only appear if a player maintained a AAA-ranking win average in every other fight. The upcoming game’sofficial websiterevealed on February 15 that Kain will be in thesequel to Garou:Mark of the Wolves, but this time as a playable character.
