How to Find Fletcher Kane in Fortnite

Fletcher Kane is a Fortnite boss featured in Chapter 6 Season 2.Fletcher Kane has four potential spawnswhich are random at the beginning of each match:

Players can find his location by looking at the map and discovering a wolf head symbol at any of the locations mentioned above. Once the target is acquired, head to this location and activate the Vault Heist by throwing or placing Thermite on the vault door, but do be mindful of the hostile Alpha Guards inside the building, so try toattack them firstso that players are not overwhelmed by hostiles.

To activate the Fletcher Kane boss fight, players must firstgrab some Thermite (usually found in bags around the vault or on Alpha Guards) and then use it on the vault door. Be warned, doing so will begin a 2-minute encounter where Alpha Guards will continue to spawn, but this is necessary to activate Fletcher Kane, as,after a minute of fighting off guards, Fletcher Kane will spawnin the building and immediately try to attack the player. The best strategy here is to bring plenty of ammo and hold off the guards so that when Fletcher Kane does spawn, he doesn’t overwhelm.

How to Beat Fletcher Kane in Fortnite

Fletcher Kane uses his Barons’ Double Down Pistol for damage, and considering it only has two shots before he needs to reload, players shouldn’t have to worry too much about his damage output, so feel free to get close with a shotgun or an SMG. However, once Fletcher Kane’s shields have been taken out, he will howl and begin to use melee attacks that deal around 15 damage per strike. At this point, it’s a good idea to avoid attacking him from close range and instead rely on SMGs and Assault Rifles to finish him off.

It’s always a good idea to bring a few weapons before engaging in combat with Fletcher Kane, but there should be some chests and loot bags scattered around Crime City that will provide a small bounty ofweapons needed for the fight ahead. After Fletcher Kane has been defeated, he will drop the following items:

The Barons’ Double Down Pistol uses Heavy Ammo for its bullets and only features two bullets in a magazine before players need to reload. Due to the heaviness of the weapon and the caliber of its ammo, firing shots can be quite burdensome. Most shots will have an absurdly high recoil, and targeting acquisition is limited thanks to the high bloom. Firing shots is also punishing due to the kickback, and missing means an open window to get killed.

While the Barons’ Double Down Pistol is a skillful weapon to use that might punish more players than they would like, it’s still pretty good for both close-range and long-range engagements. A headshot with the Barons’ Double Down Pistol is pretty lethal, and even a body shot can do enough piercing damage to make an opponent panic.

Unstoppable Medallion Stats

The Unstoppable Medallion pairs wonderfully with Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit, as it really benefits players who enjoy close-range attack methods thanks to the fact that it will increase sprint speed and knock back enemies that have been sprinted into. Enemies who have been sprinted into will take some damage and even shoot up into the sky to provide potential fall damage, but the real show-stealer here is the increase in sprint speed.

While there is no increase to stamina duration, the sprint speed is more than enough to allow players to quickly escape dangerous encounters, or gain the speed they need to reach other combatants fast enough so that they can engage with melee combat or close-quarter shotguns and SMGs.
