Forza Motorsportupdate 17 is already live, and players now have access to new car audio for the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ and 2020 Toyota GR Supra, along with an improved Rival select system.Forza Motorsportmultiplayernow works differently, as the patch changes the way friends and random players are prioritized in Next Rival. These changes aim to ensure that players don’t end up facing an unfair race—either too hard or too easy for their skills. Additionally, players can now smoothly switch Rivals events without any game instability.

Several other fixes were also introduced, including a problem with the 2019 Lamborghini Sian FKP 37’s exhaust sound and the 2021 Porsche GT3’s cockpit audio. There was also a visual issue involving certainForza Motorsportcarsthat were not properly attenuated when in cockpit view. Players on Xbox Series X|S will be pleased to know that the problem that caused the game to restart when using the Quick Resume suspend feature was rectified.

Moreover, the developer noted that update 17 was possible thanks to the Forza Insiders Program, where players can test new features and patches. As for patch 17, insiders helped revert the Forza Touring Car Spec Series in Featured Multiplayer to stock parts, among other things. Turn 10 also encourages players to report any kind of bug they may encounter while playing by using its Troubleshooting Hub, as well as its Suggestions Hub to leave any recommendations for the devs.

Update 17 adds to the November 2024 patch, which treatedForza Motorsportplayers to NASCAR vehicles. As players get their hands on the new update, they should be on the lookout for Spotlight cars and new in-game events starting on February 12.
