Frieren: Beyond Journey’s Endbecame huge with the anime adaptation that aired in 2023-2024 onCrunchyroll. The second season is in production, and further information is expected to be announced this year (maybe at AnimeJapan 2025).
While the originalmanga is still on hiatus, Frieren herself has recently recommended another manga with a similar setting, and thathelped to boost sales for that manga. It is an example of how popularFrierenhas become.
Frieren x InuYasha x Urusei Yatsura?
Now, the official account of the series is teasing a collaboration with Rumiko Takahashi – it posted two pictures, one with a Frieren plush doll and anUrusei Yatsurafigure, and the other features the same Frieren doll with anInuYashafigure. Both posts were reposted by Rumiko Takahashi’s official account:
While these posts may be teasing a collaboration between the series, it might also just be a joint action as Rumiko Takahashi has serialized most, if not all, of her work inShonen Magazine. If this is a collab, more information should drop soon.
