Goku’s reply made it clear that the power rush of a Super Saiyan was fueling his battle instincts, making it clear that he wanted to fight Frieza at the peak of his strength. While Frieza certainly looked intimidating in this form, his muscle mass increased to a ridiculous extent. There’s something about Frieza’s “Final” form that still strikes terror in the hearts of fans. This form looks sleek and exudes a ton of power, making it clear why Vegeta started crying after he failed to defeat Frieza after this transformation.

WithoutGoku’s Super Saiyan transformation, the Z Warriors would’ve handily lost this fight. Even with all the new transformations that Frieza has unlocked, there’s something about this classic form that fans can’t get enough of.
