After displaying his power in this base form, he reveals that this is just the first of many forms that he can whip out to enhance his strength. It’s a chilling revelation that recontexualizes his unintimidating look and makes it clear that there’s still a lot he can bring to the table.

A Buff Version Of His Final Form That Looks Too Bulky
After realizing that he needed to pull out all the stops to defeat Goku inhis Super Saiyan form, Frieza decided to go all out. He took his sweet time to charge up and reach 100%, to the point where King Kai questions Goku for being passive as his enemy powered up.
Goku’s reply made it clear that the power rush of a Super Saiyan was fueling his battle instincts, making it clear that he wanted to fight Frieza at the peak of his strength. While Frieza certainly looked intimidating in this form, his muscle mass increased to a ridiculous extent. It was surprising that he was able to retain his speed, since Super Saiyan Third Grade has shown that excess muscle can be a detriment for fighters who can’t land a punch.

The news that Frieza and another person with the same power level was landing on Earth shocked the Z Warriors. They couldn’t fathom facing this villain, especially when they assumed that Goku got the job done.
Once he stepped out, they saw how he managed to survive. King Cold had gathered his son’s parts and reconstructed his body using artificial materials. While he was as strong as ever, Mecha Frieza was stopped in his tracks with the advent of another mysterious Super Saiyan who slashed Frieza to bits in one of the most humiliating moments in the series.

A Large And Imposing Form That Intimidates The Z Warriors
After Frieza reveals that he can transform, the Z Warriors can only look on in horror as this fighter becomes bigger and stronger than ever. He uses his horn to spear Krillin and would’ve inflicted grievous harm on the others had it not been for Piccolo’s timely interruption.
As intimidating as this form looked, Piccolo’s Namekian Fusion gave him a fighting chance. However, it didn’t take long for Frieza to reveal that there was more to his power than what met the eye, dashing any hopes of defeating Frieza at that point.

A Regal Form That Looks Great, If A Bit Gaudy At Times
After being brought back inSuper, it was clear that Frieza needed to unlock a new transformation to fight on equal footing with the Saiyans who had attained divine ki. This was achieved with the advent of Golden Frieza, a new form that Frieza couldn’t wait to show off tothe two Saiyans he hated the most.
While this form has a glorious appearance, it’s also the only major transformation that Frieza relies on inDragon Ball Super. That may diminish its presence, but the design is still great and does an excellent job of communicating just how strong this villain has become.

An Iconic Form That Needs No Introduction
There’s something about Frieza’s “Final” form that still strikes terror in the hearts of fans. This form looks sleek and exudes a ton of power, making it clear why Vegeta started crying after he failed to defeat Frieza after this transformation.
WithoutGoku’s Super Saiyan transformation, the Z Warriors would’ve handily lost this fight. Even with all the new transformations that Frieza has unlocked, there’s something about this classic form that fans can’t get enough of.

Fans can’t wait for the Black Frieza form to be adapted, showing just how powerful this emperor has become after being revived following the Tournament of Power. Not only does this form look amazing with its black hues, but it’s also so ridiculously powerful that it cantake out True Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta with a single hit.
It’s clear that this villain is poised for bigger and better things in the manga, and the success ofDragon Ball Daimashould make it clear that there’s still a huge market that will love an official continuation of the events ofDragon Ball Super. This glorious form can completely change the power dynamics ofDragon Ball Superand force the Saiyans to reach new heights of power and take out this threat.
