Genshin Impact Version 5.5: New Volcano Animation Revealed
As for the volcano’s location, it is situated southwest of Natlan, in a region also known as the Sacred Mountain. The official storyline confirms that the volcano was once home toancient dragons inGenshin Impact, with their palace located beneath the magma. Fans have expressed concerns that they do not want to see the volcano turn dormant after the world questline is completed.
This wouldn’t be surprising, considering HoYoverse has previously removed similar environmental effects in other regions. For example,Genshin Impactremoved the Tsurumi Island mistin Inazuma and Sumeru’s unique pyramid effect after their respective questlines were completed. Regarding the volcano’s release date, it is expected to arrive inGenshin ImpactVersion 5.5, which, based on HoYoverse’s usual update schedule, should launch at the end of March 2025.
The volcano region is expected to be home to the Collective of Plenty, one of the main tribes inGenshin Impact’s Natlan region. Both of the announced characters, Varesa and Iansan, have been confirmed as members of the Collective of Plenty. The members of this tribe are known for being fierce warriors, as the region is also famous for hosting frequent contests of strength and bodybuilding.
