Players will discover several hidden locations and dungeons scattered around different regions ofAvowed. One of these hidden locations is the Waterfall Cave, which can be discovered in the Emerald Stair region. The cave entrance is well-hidden, so finding it can be a bit tricky. However, the location is worth exploring as you’ll fight one of the power armor sets in Avowed called the Death Knight armor and sabatons inside.
How to Find the Hidden Waterfall Cave in Avowed
Players can find the Hidden Waterfall Cave entrance justwest of Fior Mes Ivernoin the Emerald Stair region ofAvowed. You canstart by fast travelingto the River Fork Beacon near the Rootbound Godless Ruins. Once you arrive at the location, follow the river up north until you reach a waterfall. There’s a small opening towards the right of the waterfall, enter through there, and you’ll find the entrance to the Waterfall Cave.
Players can also findthe Painter’s Brush unique trinketoutside the waterfall cave.
Get Unique Death Knight Armor & Sabatons in Waterfall Cave
Once you enter the Waterfall Cave in Avowed, keep following the path until you reach the main open area. There are going to be some Xaurip enemies here, so eliminate them quickly before proceeding ahead.
Once the area is cleared, there are two paths that you can take from here. There’s a pool of water towards the left, and some stone steps leading to an upper area towards the right.
Getting the Death Knight Heavy Armor
If you jump into the pool on the left, you’ll see that there’s a hidden underwater pathway below. Keep following the path until you surface on the other side of the cavern.
Exit the pool and open the chest in front of you to get the uniqueDeath Knight ArmorinAvowed. It’s a high-quality heavy armor that provides great protection against damage and comes with two amazing talents.
Getting the Death Knight Sabatons
Now, backtrack your way through the pool into the main area of the Waterfall Cave. Now, go towards the right and up the stone steps and reach the higher platform above. There’s a room barricaded with wooden crates and some explosive barrels lying on the floor. Use a ranged weapon or a spell to burst the barrels and break the barricade.
Enter the room to find another chest that you can open up to get the uniqueDeath Knight SabatonsinAvowed. They’re part of the Death Knight item set that provides a decent boost to maximum health and also grants bleed and poison resistance.
