New Dr. Glimmerfin Quest
First things first, Dr. Glimmerfin has a new quest for you, andit’s all about building a submarine—the watercraft that will take you deep into Mariana’s Veil. This is one of the first tasks in the update. Players just head toRoslit Bay’s lighthouse areaand interact with Dr. Glimmerfin to get started.
Five Bestiaries And Secret Fish
Once you build your submarine and enter Mariana’s Veil, you’ll come across five spots below. As expected, theirbestiariesare packed with their native fish, but the twist here is that each location also has asecret fishthat triggers a cutscene when caught. Here’s a list of all the cave layers, along with details of the new fish:

Submarine Upgrades And Glimmerfin Suits
Since, at first, you’re able to only access the first layer (Volcanic Vents) of Mariana’s Veil, and thedeeper layers are lockedbecause you don’t have the right gear to dive further, and your watercraft can’t handle the pressure, you’ll need tocomplete a small submarine upgrade quest.
Players will upgrade their watercraft three times, but only in the first three layers. Doing so will also grant you different levels of Glimmerfin Suits, outfits that must be equipped in each area to maintain temperature and warmth.

Puzzles And Challenges
The Mariana’s Veil offers some puzzles for players to solve,similar to Atlantis' Zeus Trial. However, these areonly found in the Calm Zone(the fourth layer), and solving them will unlock the Veil of the Forsaken (the final location). Here’s a quick look at the challenges:
Jump across floating rocks and complete the obstacle course.
2. Giant Gate
Place three secret fish (Magma Leviathan, Frozen Leviathan, and Crowned Anglerfish) on their respective podiums.
3. Scylla Boss Fight
Move four chess pieces to their correct positions and assemble the crossbow while dodging Scylla’s fireball attacks.
Scylla Hunts
After upgrading your submarine, solving all the puzzles, and reaching the final part of Mariana’s Veil inFisch, you’ll finda pond where Scylla Huntstake place. This is aserver eventannounced to all players, but only those with access to this area can participate and catch it.
Exclusive Rods
Last but not least, the Mariana’s Veil update bringsfive powerful rodstoFisch—some are great for making money, others for EXP, and a few excel at both. However, most of them come with a hefty price tag. Here are all the update-exclusive rods:
