Outlaw Midas has managed to break free of the restraints that bind him, allowing gold to reign upon those who seek him out inFortniteChapter 6 Season 2. Midas has always been a popular character in theFortnitefandom, and now another Lawless variant is up for grabs in the Battle Pass as the bonus skin.
With the return of Outlaw Midas, players will need to work hard and fast if they want to add him and his cosmetics to their lockers, as he comes with his own set of quests for delightful XP and equipment that can make anyone’s locker seem golden.
How to Get Outlaw Midas in Fortnite
Outlaw Midas has finally unlocked for players to grind for thanks to the March 11 update, allowing players to grab 16 unique cosmetics for this golden glittering gunslinger. Toclaim Outlaw Midas, players must first purchase the Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Passwith 1,000 V-Bucks or a monthly subscription to the Fortnite Crew, which will allow them access to the Outlaw Midas quests and cosmetics. To actually get Outlaw Midas, players must level up, with each level being 80,000 XP.Outlaw Midas is unlocked after acquiring 10 levels, which is 800,000 XP. Luckily, there are a few easy ways to reach that level, including Outlaw Midas-exclusive quests.
How to Complete All Outlaw Midas Quests in Fortnite
To help players earn XP for the Outlaw Midas cosmetics, there are Golden Gunslinger quests exclusive to the Outlaw Midas set that will earn players 30,000 XP for each challenge completed. Most of these challenges are relatively straightforward, and they will release in weekly drops. Here’s the first drop and how to complete it:

Eliminate Fletcher Kane or guards from his Pack (0/20)
Fletcher Kane will spawn at any of the bank vaults on the map. Players canspawn Fletcher Kaneby starting a heist at the location where a wolf icon is. Killing him is the easiest progress, as the alternative is killing 20 guards which will take players on quite a trip through multiple games.
30,000 XP
Deal 100 damage to opponents with a single shotgun blast (0/3)
Any rarity ofany shotgunshould reach over 100 damage when aimed at the head of an opponent from close-range. This challenge is easily completed against AI opponents like Fletcher Kane’s guards.
Collect or spend Bars in a single match (0/1,500)
Players can easily obtain Gold Bars from the Midas Llamas around the map, as that’s over 1,000 Gold.Vault Heistsalso provide over 1,500 Gold Bars, but players can also save their gold and spend it all atBlack Markets, NPCs, and Vending Machines in one game.
Travel distance on Grindable Rails (0/200)
Grindable Rails are easily found in Shiny Shafts, where players will find the appropriate length to stand on and automatically skate back and forth for 200 meters.
Open Vaults (0/3)
Vaults can be opened with Thermite while defending the progress from Fletcher Kane’s guards at any of these locations:
Collect different Medallions or Boons (0/4)
Boons are randomly acquired from chests, Rare Chests, and from delivering Sprites to Sprite Shrines, and Medallions can be acquired from defeating Fletcher Kane orShogun X, so this one might take at least two games.
Survive Storm Circles (0/20)
This challenge may take a while, as the average win in Battle Royale will only take around 6 to 7 Storm Circles, so just keep dropping from the Battle Bus until a total of 20 Storm Circles have passed.
