Roblox’sFischis packed with new resources after the latest Mariana’s Veil update. These include plenty of unique fish, rods, outfits, and, surprisingly, a drill.Just like the Pickaxe, this drill is important for breaking rock formations and gathering the right materials.
Not only is it needed to complete tasks before entering Mariana’s Veil, but it also comes in handy for deeper ocean exploration. Luckily, you can’t start your journey without it, so you’ll get it pretty early in the update. Here’s how to get the drill inFischand make the most of this tool.
How To Get The Drill In Fisch
To get the drill inFisch, interact with Dr. Glimmerfinat the back of Roslit Bay andstart the submarine-building quest. To do this, just hop into your boat and head east on the map to reach Roslit Bay. Once there, move to the backside (check the northwest side), where you’ll find Dr. Glimmerfin standing at a construction site nextto an unfinished submarine.
Talking to Dr. Glimmerfin reveals that he and Dr. Finnues have discovered a way to reach Mariana’s Veil, and you’ll need a watercraft to get there. So, to help you progress,he’ll hand you a drill, which will be added to your backpack so you can access it anytime. Getting into Mariana’s Veil will solve the mystery ofthe strange fish from the Ashfall eventand unlock five new locations. However, on some levels, you may require the drill.
How To Use The Drill In Fisch
To use the drill inFisch, equip it in your handsandclick on the rockyou want to break. Each time you do this, the rock weakens, so you’ll need to repeat the processaround 10 timesto shatter it and extract the material. However, items aren’t guaranteed from every rock, so you might have to try multiple times. If you’re unsure how to equip the drill, just open your backpack from the bottom of the screen and tap on this tool to select it.
The first time you’ll ever need to use a drill inFischis when building a submarine to get into the Mariana’s Veil trenches; by drilling through the obsidian rocks on Roslit Bay’s shores, you’ll gather all the necessarywatercraft parts. Similarly, you’ll have to breaklava rocks in Volcanic Vents(the first cave layer) to collect aLava Crystalfor your watercraft upgrade and later smash ice formations in Challenger’s Deep (the second cave layer) to obtain anIce Crystal.
