Throughout the map, there are many areas where you can hunt rabbits. However, one of the easiest to get to is Bolger Blade near Braithwaite Manor and the township of Rhodes. All you have to do is head to the spot marked in the picture above and, ideally, wait for morning so that you have a clear view of your prey. It’s also very important that you’ve already purchased the Varmint Rifle that every Gunsmith sells after you’ve completed the “Eastward Bound” mission. Luckily, this is the final mission of Chapter 1, so you can gain access to the Varmint Rifle early on.

Once you’ve reached the designated spot, make sure to stay down to avoid scaring your prey away. Rabbits can be really hard to hit, especially if you’ve never hunted one before. To make matters worse, you’re much more likely to get a Perfect-Quality Rabbit Pelt if you hit the rabbit in the head, which is quite a challenge. This isn’t mandatory, but it might save you some time by lowering the chances of getting suboptimal pelts. Once you’ve successfully hunted your first rabbit, you may wait in this spot for the other two to complete this Master Hunter Challenge.

Besides completing the Master Hunter Challenge for a Perfect Rabbit Pelt, there are many other uses for this item. For starters, you cansell this pelt to the Trapperfor a small amount of money, which can be of great help if you’re struggling to get by or need some assistance with camp supplies and expenses. Sadly, there are few outfits inRed Dead Redemption 2for which you can make use of a Rabbit Pelt when crafting. However, hunting other animals can go a long way in this regard, and can also give you great items, such as the Bison Horn Talisman. To get it, you’ll need a Legendary Bison Horn, a Silver Earring, and anAbalone Shell Fragment. Then, you must go to any Fence and trade said items for the Talisman.
