Players who are still in the early stages ofKingdom Come: Deliverance 2and enjoying the beauty of the Trosky region, may know about a second, larger map, featuring the vast city of Kuttenberg. This is areal city, now known by its Czech name of Kutna Hora, and back in 1403 it was one of the most rich and influential cities in the Holy Roman Empire thanks to its silver mines.
However, players may not knowhow to get to theKuttenberg mapinKCD2and desire toexperience the bustling city. This guide will explain how players canreach the second map, but for those who want to avoid spoilers, simplyplay through the main story, and you’ll eventually travel there.
How To Get To The Kuttenberg Map In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
To gain access to the Kuttenberg map inKCD2, players will have to play throughevery main story mission in the Trosky region, but don’t worry about completing the region, as most side quests can be returned to later.
After completing Necessary Evil, players will be warned that the next main quest, For Victory, willlock them out of free-roam gameplayfor a while.
After completing The Storm, Henry willtravel to the Kuttenberg map via a cutscene, and then The Sword and the Quill quest will begin, with playersclose to gaining free access to the open worldonce more.
Main Quests After Arriving In The Second Map
The Sword and the Quill takes place in thecastle of Suchdoland is quick and easy. Once complete, the only thing left to unlock free-roaming, andgain proper access to the Kuttenberg map, is to play through andfinish the Speak of the Devil quest.
Players arenow free to explore the second mapinKCD2andcan rideto Kuttenberg as soon as they like. It’s alsopossible to travel back to Troskywhenever and switch between the two maps.
Where Is The City Of Kuttenberg In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After rescuing the Dry Devil, Henry will unlock two quests,Into the UnderworldandThe Devil’s Pack. They can alsoacquire a bed and chestat the Devil’s Den where the previous quest finished.
Those whowant to visit Kuttenbergare now free to do so, and they canfollow the marker for the Into the Underworldquest. Essentially,head southeast along the main roadsand you can’t miss it. The city is huge and takes up a significant portion of the lower-right map.
