Players may find that a4-star Chatacabrais among those listed monsters, and selecting it will mark its position. When that occurs, the player should press the"Set Waypoint"input that is displayed at the bottom of the screen, and then use theirSeikret’s auto-move feature to travel directly to the High Rank Chatacabra.
If the player is not quite ready to fight the Chatacabra, they can create an Investigation, which can be used to easily find the large monster later. To create an Investigation, players should select the Chatacabra within the Environment Overview menu, select “Create Quest,” and then “Save as Investigation.” Players can then speak with Alma and post the Investigation when they are prepared to pursue the monster.
Wait or Rest
If the Chatacabra does not appear in the “Current” tab, it is not currently available, and players should tab over to the Environment Overview’s"Forecast"tab to get a sense of when the next one will spawn. Indeed, there is a chart in the “Forecast” tab that can be used to determine whenlarge monsters inMonster Hunter Wildswill appear, and here is how players who are looking for a Chatacabra should approach it:
To pass those minutes, players can either wait or useMonster Hunter Wilds' rest feature, which is accessed by entering the Hunter’s tent and navigating to the BBQ Menu. Resting does have a cost, though, and players may be better off waiting if the Chatacabra’s spawn is imminent. Regardless of how the player chooses to pass time, they will find that the Chatacabra appears in the “Current” tab after the minutes have gone by, and they can easily set a waypoint on the monster through that tab.
