Players will constantly be on the lookout for opportunities to record footage for their memoirs collection. Some of these are spread out across the entire game, while others, likethe Graffiti memoir,are bound to a single location.Lost Records: Bloom & Rageoffers more than just a hefty amount of collectibles, as players will also find themselves needing to figure out what to do next in order to progress.
One of the first instances of this will be when players find a combination lock while exploring a cabin in the dead of night. Players will explore this cabin during a flashback scene while Swann remembers the events of the previous night. Eerie and ephemeral scenes and atmospheres are something handled exceptionally well in a lot ofDon’t Nod’sgames.
How to Open the Combination lock for the Cabin Door in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
Players will see there are 4 icons needed to open the combination lock. However, the first icon is jammed. Luckily, the icon that is jammed is the correct one they will need. Players will find a piece of paper on one of the cabin’s support beams with a knife holding it up. This paper will show the 4 locations of these icons.
There are a lot of red herrings scattered around the cabin to make the players try using incorrect icons.
The Eye
The Eye is the first icon for the lock, which is already locked in for players. It can be found above the door with the combination lock. When players try to zoom in on the icon, it will give a haze-like effect. Players can use this effect to discern which icons are real and which ones are red herrings.
The Moon
The moon is the second icon, and it will be in the attic. To get here, players will need to pull the cord to gain access. Players can look out the window to capture some footage they need forgetting more collectiblesfor their list of memoirs, but when they turn around, they will see the moon icon on their right side.
The Leaf
The clue to finding the leaf is the most straightforward of the lot. While the moon in the attic is hinted by a ladder, and the final icon is hinted by a hunting rifle. The leaf uses pans and cans, which can be easily located without much guidance.
The Stars
The final icon is the stars, which, while using a hunting rifle on the list, is actually behind a bear trap — which is another tool used for hunting. Once players have input each of these icons in the right place, they can continue toenjoy the rest of the game.
Once players have found 2 icons they know are correct, they can cycle through the final icon without knowing what they even need.
