Combat is one of the main focuses ofAvowed, which is both dynamic and diverse enough to support various types of playstyles. If you prefer running the fighter class or using melee weapons in general, it’s important that you learn how to parry attacks inAvowed. Simply relying on blocking during combat isn’t optimal, as parrying lets you stagger enemies and leave them vulnerable to multiple hits.
How to Parry Attacks in Avowed
To parry attacks inAvowed, you’ll first need tounlock the skill. Head over to your Abilities tab andswitch to the Ranger Classtab. Here, scroll to the Parry ability in level 1 and invest a skill point in it. Once the ability is unlocked, you’ll be able to deflect attacks by blocking at the last second.
Parrying does not require you to have a shield equipped but does work with shields similarly. However, you’ll need to keep your off-hand item slot empty to parry attacks.
