Being able topausehas been a staple in video games since pretty much the beginning; however, there are some games out there, likeFromSoftware’sElden Ring, that do not feature a dedicated pause button.
It makes sense for games that have online multiplayer functionality, but inMonster Hunter Wilds, you don’t need to worry because there is indeed a pause button. Still, it’s kind of buried in the menus and might not be the easiest to find for aMonster Hunternewcomer, so that’s why we made this guide to help you out.
It’s worth noting that you can only pause inMonster Hunter Wildsif you’re not connected to other players and are playing the game solo. It wouldn’t really make sense to be able to pause your gameplay session if you’re fighting a monster with three other real human players over the internet.
