Behind Enemy Lines is the first mission inSniper Elite Resistancethat lets players cripple Nazi defenses and leave them vulnerable to an aerial bomb run. The first objective out of the two in this brief mission is to pressurize the dam. Thegame allows players to complete this objectivein two ways: clogging the overflow pipes or destroying the generators powering the dam. We’ll look over both of the methods to complete this objective.
How to Shoot Dam Controls in Sniper Elite Resistance Mission 1
The first method to pressurize the dam inSniper Elite ResistanceMission 1 is by shooting the dam controls near the overflow pipes. It’s one of the easiest ways to complete the objective, and you can do it early on in the mission.
After you use the vines to climb down the starting point in mission 1, use the zipline to reach the walkway in front of the dam. Here, you’ll first need to eliminate a Nazi soldier patrolling the area. After taking the enemy down,head towards the edge of the walkwayand Hawker will comment on how he has a clear view of the controls near the overflow pipes.
Use your sniper rifle to zoom into thecontrol panels highlighted in redand shoot them both. Once both panels are destroyed, the objective will be marked as complete.
Destroying the Dam Generator
The second method is a bit lengthier and requires you to use a Satchel Charge to destroy the generator powering the dam mechanisms.
To do this, keep following the starting path until you go past the Farmhouse. As you start climbing the vines to reach the top, you’ll notice a platform right in front of you with a zipline tied to it. Use thezipline to reach the walkwayalong the dam below.
You’ll need to eliminate enemy snipers positioned on this walkway before proceeding ahead. Once all enemies patrolling the walkway are taken care of, keep heading down the path until you see a set of orange metal doors leading intothe dam control room.
After heading inside,grab the Satchel Charge near the shelvesand plant it on the generators in the middle of the room. Start the fuse and exit the control room.Once the charge blows, the dam will get pressurized after playing a brief cutscene inSniper Elite Resistance.
