Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2is a highly dynamic game, where players can approach quests, dialogue, and exploration in their own way. Among the many choices to be made, Henry can attempt to romance certain characters, which in some cases willmerely lead to a night of fun, (often a hidden cutscene wheretime is advanced).

How Does Romance Work In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
For the most part, romance inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2isn’t something players can just set off and do. Theromanceable characters mostly appear during the main quests, however, there are often no quest markers indicating these opportunities.
Instead, players will have tolisten to characters calling out for Henry, such as when Doubravka’s mother asks him to dance with her daughter during theWedding Crashers quest. Alternatively, players can be proactive and try talking to more characters.
Making The Right Dialogue Choices & Skill Checks
Romancing these characters often comes down to Henry’sdialogue choicesand his actions. Try to gauge characters andanswer with what you think they’d like to hear, and this will often be the correct choice.
Unfortunately, theplayer’s choice won’t always be enough, as in this highly immersive game, the same line spoken by ascholar and an uneducated version of Henrycome across completely differently.

However, this only highlights thedifficulty of the skill checkand the listener, not Henry’s chances of succeeding. If it says ‘Easy’ for Impression/Charisma, but Henry has an awful reputation and Charisma, thismight fail.
Look For The Heart & Hands Icon In Dialogue
In some situations, players may beunaware if their attempts at romancing are succeeding, or even if they are talking to a romanceable character.
However, if ared heart icon with two handsever appears, then click this for romance. Often, this is thefinal agreement to romance, but in some cases, it can also be thefirst subtle movein more drawn-out romances.
Completing Small Tasks For Romance
Sometimes, characters will ask Henry to completesmall optional objectives, such as picking flowers. As romance is often tied to main quests, make sure to complete them before time runs outor before finishing the major objectives.
Romance With Maids At The Bathhouse In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Of course, if Henry constantly fails at romance or simply wants more, hecan always payfor a few hours of relaxation at a bathhouse.

While romance is mostly down to player choices, they can improve their chances of success bymaking Henry better at romance inKCD2.
The aim is toimprove his Charisma, Reputation, Speech, and Scholarship. This can be done with specialized Perks, stat farming, fancy attire, and good hygiene.

Clothes, Hygiene, & Perfume For Romance
Dressing for the occasion inTier 3 fancy clothes with high Charismais an easy way tomake Henry more appealing, althoughenough Groschen is neededof course. Players should make sure that these clothes arerepaired and washed, and Henry himself should be clean too. This allaffects his Charisma.
Lastly, there are manyperfumesinKCD2that cantemporarily enhance his Charisma, but be careful not to wear multiple at once. These can be bought orcrafted via alchemy. The following potions can also be useful before talking to a potential partner.
