Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2does not disappoint when it comes to side content. Though some of these quests might involve tedious fetching, each one feels entirely unique. There are several tasks andside quests that players can missor that become inaccessible as the story progresses. “A Sinful Soul” is one such task, starting during a side quest, and players must complete it to continue.

How To Start A Sinful Soul Task In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
A Sinful Soultask is directly linked to the “Hermit"side quest that Blacksmith Radavon givesyou inTachov. To start this task, head toTroskowitzandspeak with Innkeeper Bettyabout the Hermit. During this conversation, you will get multiple dialogue options, all of which are optional, as you can end your questioning there. However, to startA Sinful Soul, you must go through all the extra dialogue options to unlock additional objectives.
The extra objectives are as follows:
You canbuy a Spade fromMerchant Jurg Thomelin Troskowitz. You will need it on multiple occasions in this task as well as theHermitquest.
Exploring Apollonia For More Clues On The Hermit
With these four objectives complete, you will receive an objective toExplore Apollonia. Head to the middle of the search zone tofind an abandoned campalong with a fenced area where you canexamine a horse. Once this is done, head to the Hermit’s location. Depending on the time of day, he may be sleeping or hostile. To avoid hostility,save your gamebefore meeting him. If he is aggressive, reload your save and rest for a few hours until he is willing to talk.
If you follow all the steps correctly, you will have multiple dialogue options when speaking with the Hermit. Start by choosing"I learnt some strange things about you…“and then exhaust all the dialogue options, selecting the first one each time. You will discuss the contents of the items found underneath the cross as well as the horse you saw near the fence. He will then reveal his true identity and ask you to giveAmbrose’s Crossto a widow in Troskowitz. This starts theA Sinful Soultask.

Once you have started the quest, make your way to Troskowitz andhead near the Butcher, where the widow is usually located. Talk to Margaret andexhaust all the dialogue options, accepting her request. Selecting the “Let’s go to the graveyard” option willautomatically fast-travelyou there.
Digging The Grave In A Sinful Soul
At the graveyard, talk to the widow, who will ask you to bury Jan’s remains. Accept her request and go to the marker to “Rob the grave,” which simply means digging it, as there isn’t anyone underneath. Go to the back of the graveyardto find red flowers that you may pluck, revealing another grave. Dig the grave, grab theOld Bones, and take them to the grave inside the graveyard.
Now, interact with the grave and watch the cutscene, after which you can talk to Widow Margaret one last time. Choose “You did the right thing,” followed by “All right, I gladly accept"to gain Reputationand 40 Groschen. This marks the end of the task and also completes the objective for theHermitside quest. You can then progress through the side quest, where you will have to meet the Hermit in the same location again.
