Infinity Nikki: All Whim Fragrances (& How to Unlock Them)

There are many ways to empower Nikki during her travels through Miraland inInfinity Nikki.While the most obvious way might be flashing the latest quality fashion, another way is withWhim Fragrances.These unique scent-filled tools can be easy to overlook, but they can actually be quite useful when it comes to battling Esselings.

Infinity Nikkihas several different Whim Fragrances that players can use. If you want to collect all of them, you’ll need to know how to find their ingredients and craft them. Here’s everything you need to know.

What Are Whim Fragrances in Infinity Nikki?

Outfits inInfinity Nikkiare mainly cosmetic, and are otherwise used for various styling challenges and objectives. On the other hand,Whim Fragrances are special tools that focus on augmenting Nikki’s fundamental purifying abilities. They can provide certain buffs and changes to her Purifying Orbs and Plunge attacks, which can help make them more efficient or effective in different ways. Such changes include affecting the range of an attack, its recast timer, and the area of effect, among others.

There are three different types of Whim Fragrances that you can collect:Hair Oil, Body Spray,andHand Powder.You can equip up to three fragrances at a time, one in each category. They all work together to amplify Nikki’s abilities and make battling Esselings all the more interesting and dynamic. As you progress through the game’smain story questline, you’ll find more and more opportunities to collect these fragrances.

To unlock each Whim Fragrance inInfinity Nikki, you must first find and gather itsGrowth Materialinside one of Miraland’s many caverns. These rare ingredients are tied to a specific’Find Fragrance' questthat will automatically appear in your Quest tab, and tracking it will lead you to the required cavern location.

Once you’ve gathered that item,activate the correct fragrance node on the Heart of Infinity Grid. Like other nodes for other things such as outfit sketches, doing this will require a cost of Whimstars and Bling. When that is done, you’re able to then view the sketch for the Whim Fragrance in your ‘Sketches’ tab.

The recipe for a fragrance is usually quite short. In addition to the Growth Material, they usually only require a certain type of Esseling material, Threads of Purity, and varying amounts of Blings. Once you craft the fragrance, it will be permanently unlocked for your character, and you can equip it anytime via your Wardrobe menu.
