Oricon’s Best-Selling Series of January 2025 - Jujutsu Kaisen

Unsurprisingly,Jujutsu Kaisenis still on top, despite having already ended last year. The final manga volume was dropped around Christmas of 2024, and since then, the sales have been incredible, which is a testament to how popular of a series this was.

The total sales are 969,151 copies, which is very impressive, and it probably won’t stop anytime soon, especially as a movie and a new anime season will be coming out, which will only renew its popularity.

The Second Best Selling Series - Dandadan

Total Number of Sales: 838,678

Dandadan has gained a lot of popularity thanks to its incredible anime adaptation, and is actually not that far behind Jujutsu Kaisen, having 838,678 copies sold.

The series will continue with good sales, especially as the second part of the first season drops and gets back to its peak popularity.

The Third Best Selling Series - Sakamoto Days

Total Number of Sales: 438,163

Sakamoto Days has its first season airing right now. Even before that, Sakamoto Days was quite a popular manga. With all that though, sales are not comparable toJujutsu KaisenorDandadan, being at 438,163 copies, which is still an impressive number, nevertheless.

The Rest of the Top 10

Blue Lock, My Hero Academia, The Apothecary Diaries, Among Others

Blue Lock is the 4th best-selling series this January, and is actually not far behind Sakamoto Days.

The 5th best-selling series is Toilet Bound Hanako Kun, with Blue Box, Medalist, and The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime following as 6th, 7th, and 8th best-selling manga respectively.

My Hero Academiais 9th which is a lot lower thanJujutsu Kaisen, despite them both ending around the same time.

And lastly, on the 10th placeis The Apothecary Diaries. A lot of other popular series didn’t make it into the top 10, but instead landed in the top 20, like Solo Leveling or Oshi No Ko.
