The Strongest Character According to Japanese Fans - Gol D. Roger

One Piece fans from Japan voted for the strongestOne Piececharacter, and that title was awarded to none other than the Pirate King himself, Gol D. Roger. This isn’t surprising to anyone, andRoger was, of course, a powerhouse in the One Pieceworld when he was alive and in his prime.

The Second Strongest Character - Whitebeard

The second place belongs to Edward Newgate, better known as Whitebeard. Whitebeard is an insanely powerful character, and had one of the most broken fruits in theOne Pieceseries. Fans saw how powerful he was during the Marineford war, and that was an old and sick Whitebeard at the end of his life. Prime Whitebeard could clash with Roger, and the strongest pirate is definitely between these two.

Third Strongest Character - Shanks

The third strongest character, according toOne Piecefans in Japan, isShanks, one of the Yonko. Fans have yet to see Shanks truly go all out, but even without that, everybody knows how strong he really is. Shanks is probably the most talented Haki user alive at the moment. Fans have all their hopes that Shanks will definitely deliver in the final saga.

Mihawk and Garp End up In 4th and 5th Place

And finally, in 4th and 5th placefans voted for Mihawk, the strongest swordsman, and Garp, the hero of the marine. Both of these characters are absolutely powerful, and fans have yet to see the true extent of Mihawk’s power. In his prime, Garp went toe to toe with Roger, which is an incredible feat.

Some powerful characters that didn’t make it to the top 5 include Imu, the 5 Elders, Kaido, Big Mom, Dragon, and Luffy, among others. But, at the end of the day, they’re just rankings based on fan votes, so they don’t mean much.
