Recently, Jujutsu Kaisenreleased two new illustrations featuring Gojo Satoru, Suguru Geto, and Shoko. The images show the trio in their younger days. In one of the illustrations, Satoru, Geto, and Shoko were having different ice cream and drinks to deal with the hot summer weather. The illustrations were likely released ahead of the compilation film that is set to be released in May 2025.
Jujutsu Kaisen Has Multiple Projects In Work
Jujutsu Kaisen has announced two main projects.
The compilation film is focused on the Hidden Inventory arc. It was originally adapted into the second season of the television series, but now it’s being turned into a compilation film. The official accounts associated with Jujutsu Kaisen have alreadyreleased a key visual for the film featuring Geto and Satoru. The Hidden Inventory compilation film will be released on August 02, 2025.
During Jump Festa 2025, Jujutsu Kaisen released a new visual for the Culling Game arc. However, there were no updates regarding the release date of the third season of the anime. Due to the lack of information about the release date of the anime, it is safe to assume that the project will be completed in 2025, and it should be ready to air in 2026.MAPPA has done a fabulous jobwith the anime show, and it will try to improve things further in the new season.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s Upcoming Season Could Be Its Best
Jujutsu Kaisen’s third seasonwill cover the Culling Game arc, which will predominantly focus on Itadori Yuji as he tries to deal with Jujutsu sorcerers trying to assassinate him. The arc will also feature Yuta Okkutsu, the insanely talented sorcerer, who was mentored by Gojo Satoru. Yuta was introduced in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, where he won over the audience’s hearts with kindness.
Under normal circumstances, Yuta and Yuji would have been good friends, but things are different as Gojo Satoru is no longer free. It is possible that Yuta and Yuji might even fight each other. Given Yuta’s skills, it would be an easy victory for him. The stakes are high, which is why Jujutsu Kaisen fans are excited about the anime’s return.
