Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen might want to delve into a similar manga, and many people think the successor of Jujutsu Kaisen will be a relativelynew series known as Kagurabachi.

When it comes to similarities, there are quite a few. Both stories are set in modern-day Japan and both feature sorcerers. In the Kagurabachi manga, even some of the paneling is quite reminiscent of Gege’s style in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Will Kagurabachi Be Able To Become As Popular As Jujutsu Kaisen?
Right now,Kagurabachi is one of the best-selling new mangain Weekly Shonen Jump, which is definitely a good sign for the series going forward. However, most series don’t truly shine until they get an anime adaptation.There have been rumors of Kagurabachi getting an anime, but nothing concrete for now.
It’s important to note that, for a series to truly be successful, not only do they need an anime adaptation, but a great one as well.Jujutsu Kaisenblew up largely due to its anime’s incredible quality. If Kagurabachi doesn’t get that, it’s unlikely it will ever be as popular as Jujutsu Kaisen.

Jujutsu Kaisenis definitely a series that will be missed by fans and it is a story many consider to have ended too early. There were a lot of plot points that were never resolved or explained, and the series had a lot more potential that Gege did not get to explore. Kagurabachi, in the meanwhile, is a currently ongoing series that doesn’t seem like it will be ending anytime soon. The series started back in 2023, so it’s not even 2 years old right now. Fans who want to get into it don’t have much to catch up to, and the manga can also be found on Manga Plus, where fans can also catch new Weekly Releases when they drop.
