AlthoughKingdom Come: Deliverance 2is a fantastic RPG, it focuses on a set protagonist, Henry of Skalitz. While players can find newarmor inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2to put their own spin on Henry’s look, there is currently no way to change his physical appearance. In the originalKingdom Come: Deliverance, players had access to several hair and beard options, which were not present in the launch of the sequel. The good news is that players won’t have to wait long for this to change.
In a newdevelopment stream on Twitch, developer Warhorse Studios gave players a look at all the hair and beard styles on the way toKingdom Come: Deliverance 2in the game’s upcoming Barber update, with Redditor Valmont_DE posting screenshots of the new styles online. The Barber update is confirmed to drop sometime in the middle of March, so players don’t have long to wait before they can customize their own version ofKingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Henry of Skalitz. Some of the options are small variations on Henry’s existing appearance, while others offer a totally different look from what players will have been acquainted with in the base game.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Reveals Hair and Beard Styles in Barber Update
The developer update offered up more than just hairstyles, though. It also gave players their first look atKingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Hardcore Mode, another feature missing from the original game. It is described in the stream as “a more difficult and immersive way of experiencing the game,” as “Helpful UI elements are limited both in and out of combat, and navigating the world relies solely on your sense of direction.” As well as this, “Your character’s position is never marked on the map, the compass doesn’t show you cardinal directions, and fast travel is disabled.” To top it all off, players can adjust the difficulty further by selecting from a set of negative perks that change how the game plays dramatically.
It’s set to be an exciting year for fans of Warhorse Studios' latest RPG.
